Special Orders

We order from multiple distributors weekly, and can get tracks you're looking for usually within 1 - 2 weeks.

1.  There are no charges or deposit required for special orders of underground dance vinyl and mixCDs.  Special orders for other items may require a deposit and an additional handling charge.

2.  We order items once from up to 3 distributors.  If you place an order and we are unable to get certain items, you can try reordering them 2-3 months later as they may have been restocked.  You may also contact the label and ask what distributors have the item(s) in stock and let us know.

3.  Special orders can be submitted through our shopping cart system just like regular orders.  If you shop through our online shopping pages, add items to your shopping cart, and submit your order, you'll then be given a text box in which you can enter special orders.  Or just click on the "Checkout" link on our main page, enter your information, and you can then enter your special orders on the final checkout page.

4.  If you choose to pay via credit card, no charges will be made to your card until we have located the items.

5.  Special order prices are usually $7-$8 for domestic 12"s and $10-$13 for import 12"s.

6.  For lists of more than 10 items, please submit via email rather than through our shopping cart system.  Note that we may require a deposit on larger lists, and for very large lists additional handling charges may apply.

7.  Items that are over 1 year old are much less likely to be available.  For older items, you will probably have better luck on sites such as discogs.com, gemm.com, or ebay.com.  These sites are middleman services who link to many sellers but who add a surcharge ranging from 5 - 15%.  In contrast, we specialize in newer releases and are usually be able to find newer items more quickly and at a lower overall cost.
